Happening at The Bordone LIC
A Spring Wedding
April is a month filled with the promise of new beginnings.
Crisp air and flower buds set the perfect scene for a new chapter in life. It’s a great time to get married.
After a long winter, the pleasant weather of the spring adds to the excitement and enthusiasm of guests to get together for a celebration.
We are remembering the 2019 wedding we hosted for Jennifer + Andrew and we wanted to share this beautiful day complete with a little furry family friend.

Tropical Oasis in NYC Winter
The Bordone LIC was transformed into a lush paradise in the midst of a cold NYC December.
This wedding transported the guests away to a warm locale of rich color and gorgeous florals for this happy day of celebration.
This is a great example of how our raw event space can be transformed into whatever you envision. The florals, the furniture, the food… every detail can be customized to create your one of a kind, unforgettable event.
We were so pleased to be a part of Alexandra and Avu’s beautiful wedding day!

NY Times features a Bordone LIC wedding
The only thing better than hosting a fantastic wedding at our venue is reading about it in the NY Times.
Ms. White is a head writer for “The Drew Barrymore Show ” ( spoiler alert: Ms. Barrymore was a guest at the wedding ) and Mr. Neal is a musician.
From the Times article:
Ms. White wore what she called a “custom pantsuit dress situation,” designed by Rebecca Shoneveld, which featured an overskirt that she removed after the ceremony. Mr. Neal wore a Hugo Boss suit and black Salvatore Ferragamo loafers with a silver-and-gold ornament.
Music, of course, was central to their celebration. As they share a passion for the ’90s — music and culture both — that’s what they naturally went with for their wedding.
It was our pleasure to host this laid-back and fun wedding at The Bordone LIC and we wish Chelsea and Tash all the happiness in the world!

A July 4th Wedding
There’s a fringe benefit to a July 4th wedding… fireworks!
The rich botanicals and clean, bright summer colors of this mid-summer wedding make the city feel almost tropical. This wedding went off with a bang. : )
The Bordone LIC’s location in Long Island City, across the river from Manhattan, affords amazing views of the city from the terrace. Summer nights under the stars, music, dancing, friends and family… imagine your wedding with us!
We loved hosting Joanna + Rob and we wish them all the best in their life together!

The transparent tent from Atlas Party Rentals provides protection from the elements but doesn’t make the space feel closed in and doesn’t interfere with the view.
